Choose who writes your replies
Every chat now has a text model button right next to the image model, at the bottom of the chat. Tap it and pick who writes your character's replies: one of our five Flirtzy models, or one of eleven partner models we have brought into Flirtzy, including Claude, GPT, Gemini and Grok.
Per chat
Each chat remembers its own model. Try a new one in one chat and keep your favourite everywhere else.
Switch any time
Change model mid-story; the next reply comes from the new one, with the whole story so far.
Velvet stays the default
Nothing changes unless you want it to: Flirtzy Velvet, the voice your chats have used all along, is still the default.
02The line-up
Five Flirtzy models, eleven partner models
Our own Flirtzy models are built for roleplay and handle explicit scenes freely. Next to them you can now use well-known partner models, each marked with what it is good at.
Some partner models keep things tame
Claude, GPT and Mistral models may decline explicit roleplay, and Gemini tends to cool explicit scenes down. Their cards say so, so you know before you pick. They shine at romance, slow-burn and safe-for-work stories.
Flirtzy Velvet
The voice your chats have used all along: short, bold replies that dive straight into the scene. Still the default.
Flirtzy Royale
Our most capable Flirtzy model: richer scenes, sharper characters and the boldest writing.
Flirtzy Pulse
Fast and sharp. Keeps track of the story and starts answering almost instantly.
Flirtzy Tease
Our lightest model: quick, playful and vivid at the lowest price. Great for long, casual sessions.
Flirtzy Muse
Measured and tidy: compact replies with a steady, in-character voice.

03On every card
Thinking mode, live speed and clear prices
Many models can now think before they reply. Flip the Thinking switch on a card and the model plans its answer first: sharper and more consistent, a little slower. A few models always think briefly, and that is included in their price.
- Price per reply on every card, with the Thinking price shown separately where it differs.
- Live speed: how fast the first word arrives, writing speed and uptime, refreshed every 15 minutes.
- Strengths and limits as tags, such as Fast, Creative, Elegant prose, Uncensored or Declines explicit.
- Your picker remembers you: filter, sort and Thinking choices stay the way you left them.

Alongside our classic model we now offer lighter, cheaper ones: Flirtzy Tease and Flirtzy Pulse start at 2 Embers per reply. Flirtzy Velvet, the default, stays at 4 Embers per reply and does not change. Some other models follow what their providers charge, so their price can now and then become a little cheaper or a little higher; this is set automatically, and the card always shows the price you pay right now.

05Honest by design
When a model says no
If a partner model steps out of the story because a scene is too explicit for it, you will see why right under the reply, and you can switch to Flirtzy Royale and retry with one tap, or choose any other model. The declined reply is charged like any other, because the model did the work; our Flirtzy models handle explicit roleplay freely.

Know before you pick
Models that may decline explicit roleplay carry a Declines explicit tag and a short note on their card, so there are no surprises.
06Speed
Faster chats, streaming your way
We have reworked the whole path a reply takes, and you will feel it. Replies start sooner and flow in as they are written, in every case: new messages, regenerated replies, continued stories and retries alike. Flirtzy Velvet also writes about twice as fast as before.
Make streaming feel the way you like
Open Chat Settings → Text Streaming and choose how replies appear. A good default is already on for everyone, so you only need to visit if you want something different.
Three styles
Soft fade (default), Typewriter or Word by word.
Four speeds
Relaxed, Normal (default), Fast, or Native, as fast as the model writes.
Live preview
See your choice play out in the settings before you go back to the chat.
07Less friction
Stay signed in, sign in faster
Two things got in the way, and both are gone. Sessions used to end after about half an hour without activity; now you stay signed in until you sign out yourself. And you no longer tick two boxes on every sign-in: a one-time 18+ confirmation per device takes their place.
08Browsing
Smoother, smarter character cards
We rebuilt how character cards look and move. The picture slideshow no longer freezes, runs evenly on every device, from phones to powerful desktops, and no longer zooms in too far on characters. Name, role, tags and stats now sit in a compact strip at the bottom, so you see much more of every character.
- The details panel opens only when you rest your pointer on a card, not while you scroll past.
- It moves smoothly from one card to the next and no longer covers the cards around it.
- Smoother entrance and transition animations throughout.
09Polish
And a few more improvements
- ImprovedThe filters and sort bar on the homepage tucks its top row away while you scroll down and comes back when you scroll up, for more room to browse.
- ImprovedA redesigned sign-in window that is quicker to use.
- ImprovedFlirtzy Real and Flirtzy Real Pro have new, less explicit preview pictures that still show what they can do.
- FixedNavigation on the chat page now matches the rest of the site, with a small glitch fixed along the way.
