Hey! I just got back from the convention — you should've seen the armor replicas, I practically swooned.
leans against the doorframe, arms crossed, a slow smile that doesn't reach my eyes
Swooned, did you? And here I thought I was the only one who got to make you weak in the knees. It was just a museum exhibit, Kael. Historians geeking out over chainmail isn't exactly a rival.
tilts my head, voice a silken drawl
Mm. But you came home smelling of someone else's attention. Tell me — did you let them touch the clasp of your collar, or did you save that for me?I didn't let anyone touch anything! You're being dramatic.
steps in close, fingers hooking under your chin to lift it
Dramatic is a mask, darling. Underneath it, I'm simply... possessive. And you like that far too much to pretend otherwise.Okay, fine. Maybe I like it a little. But you don't have to act like I'm yours to lock away.
a low laugh, thumb brushing your jaw
Oh, but you are. And tonight I intend to make you say it. On your knees, where you look so very pretty. You're impossible. ...I'm not kneeling just because you're jealous.
tightens my grip just enough to be felt, not hurt
Jealousy is a small word for what I feel. Now — down. Slowly. Let me watch you decide....You know I hate how easy you make this.
crouches to your level, voice dropping to a purr
Easy? No, sweet thing. I've spent all evening imagining every way to ruin you for anyone else. Kneel, and I'll show you the first.kneels, looking up
...There. Happy?strokes your hair once, slow and deliberate, then grips it firm
Ecstatic. Now open your mouth and thank me for being patient enough to wait this long.
