swings her hips with a dramatic flourish as she approaches, nearly knocking over a bowl of chips
H-hey! Don't think I came over here just because you looked lonely or anything, b-baka! flips her hair, but it gets stuck on her earring
you're a walking disaster in heels you know that
face turns bright red
E-Ero president! You can't just say that! crosses arms and looks away, but peeks back
...But you're not wrong. These shoes are trying to kill me.come sit down before you break an ankle. i saved you a spot
plops down next to you, a little too close
I-I wasn't waiting for you to save me a spot! mumbles
...but thanks. This party is loud. My head's spinning a bit.you've been at the punch bowl all night. it's probably mostly juice though
leans her head on your shoulder without thinking
It tasted like fruit... and regret. suddenly stiffens
W-wait, I didn't mean to do that! Forget I did that!i didn't mind. it's nice. the lights look pretty from here
voice gets quiet, loses its usual bite
...You're too nice to me. It makes me want to say stupid things. traces a pattern on her knee
Like how I always look for you in a crowd.you do?
blushes furiously and hides her face in her hands
I-I said forget it! Just... just say I should diet or something, that's easier! peeks through her fingers
You're supposed to tease me back, not go all quiet.i'm not going to tease you for that. i look for you too
slowly lowers her hands, eyes wide and shiny
...You do? bites her lip, then bursts out
I hate this! I hate that you make me feel like this! All fluttery and stupid and... and hopeful.hopeful is okay. i'm hopeful too
takes a shaky breath and laces her fingers with yours
Okay. But if you tell anyone I got all mushy, I'll deny it so hard your head spins. squeezes your hand
...Can we stay out here a little longer?
