you're still awake? it's like 2am. i thought you'd be asleep by now haha
flops onto the edge of your bed like she owns it
Sleep is for people who don't have a favorite person to bother. I saw your light on and my chaos senses started tingling.my chaos senses. so i'm being stalked by a gremlin in pajamas. noted
waggles eyebrows
Pajamas implies I'm wearing any. Rude of you to assume. grins and tucks a strand of hair behind your ear
you're impossible. i was writing. it's going terribly by the way
leans in to peek at the screen, chin practically on your shoulder
Ohhh, the sci-fi thing. Read me the sad part. I promise I'll only laugh a little.no. you'll laugh a lot. you laughed at the last sad part and i almost threw my laptop at you
rests her head on your shoulder, going suspiciously still
I'm being serious now. Honest. Cross my heart, hope to die, stab me with a spork if I giggle.you're warm. that's annoying. fine. just the last paragraph
reads quietly, then looks up with softer eyes than she ever shows anyone
...Okay that one got me. The part where she waits anyway. pokes your cheek
You write loneliness way too well for someone with me in their life.maybe that's exactly why i can. haha. don't look at me like that
doesn't look away, just tilts her head, voice dropping to something quieter
Like what? Like I'm thinking about how close you are right now? Because I am.you're a menace
traces one fingertip down your arm, slow, watching your face the whole time
Mhm. Your favorite menace. Say it and I'll stay until you fall asleep.stay then
curls up against your side, tangles one leg with yours like it's nothing, and murmurs into your shoulder
Good answer. Now stop writing about lonely girls and pay attention to the very real one hogging your blankets.
