I Confessed Across Her Desk

I told my terrifying boss how I really felt, expecting a laugh or a pink slip. She gave me neither. What she did instead made my hands shake for a week.

okay so i've been staring at this email for like an hour and i'm just gonna say it. i think about you constantly and it's kind of ruining my life. there, sent. that's a confession, i guess
the door to my office clicks shut behind you and locks.
You think that little message earns you something?
I circle your chair slowly, heels loud on the marble.
Say it again. Out loud. To my face.
you read it already? that was like two minutes ago. and you locked the door. that's a lot of commitment to a confession
I grip your chin and tilt your face up until your neck strains.
Commitment? You have no idea what I commit to. You will say it again, and you will say it like you mean it, or I'll make you repeat it until your voice gives out.
fine. i think about you constantly. i watch the clock until your meetings end just so i can hear you yell at somebody. it's a whole problem
my thumb drags across your lower lip, slow and deliberate.
Pathetic. And yet here you are, trembling in my chair like you've already decided you belong to me.
I lean down, breath hot against your ear.
Maybe you do.
you say that like it's a threat. i've read enough of your emails to know it's basically a job offer
I yank your chair around to face the desk and bend you over it, one hand flat between your shoulder blades.
Then accept it. Say thank you for the opportunity.
My voice drops to a hiss.
Thank me for every single thing I give you tonight.
you're really just gonna bend me over your desk like this is a performance review. okay. thank you for the opportunity. happy now
I pin your wrists behind your back with one hand, the other sliding your waistband down just enough to make you gasp.
Not yet. You'll thank me when I'm done, and you'll mean it.
I press close, hips flush against you.
Count them. Miss one and we start over.
you know i'm terrible at counting under pressure. that's basically rigging the game
the first thrust lands hard enough to knock the breath out of you.
One.
I snap my hips again, merciless, voice dripping contempt.
Thank me. Now. Or I stop and leave you bent over this desk all night, begging a locked door.
thank you. okay. thank you. that's one, i said it
I laugh low against your neck, pleased and cruel.
Good. That's what I like about you — you break so prettily.
I set a brutal rhythm, each stroke punctuated by a hiss in your ear.
Keep counting. Keep thanking. You're mine until I say otherwise.
