I would love to see her written in a setting where the pain finally stops working, and she has to figure out what she even is without it. That could be a devastating slow burn if it is handled with some patience instead of rushing to a fix. Also, giving her a music motif would be a lovely touch, maybe something she hums from a life she can barely remember.

and the whole thing where she smiles through it because she thinks that is what love is supposed to cost. That bit landed harder than it should have for a horror nerd with a deadlift habit.
