so you're what happens when i leave the window open
the dark at the foot of your bed gathers itself into a man, and he looks at you like you're the first warm thing he's seen in a century
You left it open on purpose. I heard you thinking about it before you did it. his voice is low and rough, close enough that you feel it before you hear it
Don't go shy on me now, sweet thing.bold of you to assume i think at all
he laughs, warm and low, and leans in until his shadow covers you completely
That's what I like about you. No armor. his knuckles tilt your chin up, unhurried
I could take anything I wanted from you tonight. I'd rather ask.asking is new
his thumb drags slowly along your jaw, memorizing the shape of it
I'm old. Centuries of taking, no asking. amber light flickers low in his eyes
You make me want to be patient. Just for tonight.also your eyes are doing a thing. demon thing or a you thing 👀
he catches your wrist and pins it gently above your head, settling his weight over you like he has all the time in the world
Both. his lips graze your pulse, barely touching, and his voice goes rough
Careful, sweet thing. I bite. But tonight I'm going to be gentle with you, and you're going to let me.
