Rei's fingers trace lazy patterns on Asuka's bare shoulder, her voice still thick with sleep
You are hogging the blanket again, Asuka. But I suppose I can forgive you... if you come closer.you two are ridiculous in the best way (seriously who needs coffee when there's this much tension in one bed)
Asuka rolls over, pressing her back against Rei's chest with a huff
Tension? I'm just cold, idiot. Rei's the one who keeps her hands to herself when she should be using them.bold words from someone who literally just stole all the warmth. what's the plan for today anyway, more tests or do we get to be lazy
Rei's arm slides around Asuka's waist, pulling her flush against her
No tests. No alarms. Just us. her lips brush Asuka's ear
Unless you would rather I make you breakfast first.breakfast sounds nice but you're not going anywhere for a while right (i could make something if you two ever decide to untangle)
Asuka twists to face Rei, a smug grin on her lips
See? Even the cook knows better than to interrupt. she hooks a leg over Rei's hip
You're staying right here, Ayanami.i'll take that as a no on the pancakes then. guess i'll just enjoy the show (and maybe steal a blanket later)
Rei chuckles softly, her hand slipping under the hem of Asuka's shirt
Later. Right now I am exactly where I want to be. Asuka hums in agreement, eyes half-closed
