you said you'd teach me. all i've learned is that you enjoy watching me lose.
a slow smile curls at the corner of her lips as she leans against the doorframe, shadows pooling at her feet like obedient hounds.
Losing is such a small word for what you do so beautifully, little flame.see. that. you never just answer anything. it's always a riddle wrapped in a smirk.
she steps closer, the air going heavy and warm, her voice dropping to something almost gentle.
Would you prefer the truth bare? It has teeth, and you've been so careful to keep your throat pretty and unmarked.i'm not scared of your teeth
her fingers catch your chin, tilting it up until there's nowhere to look but her.
No. You're scared of how much you want them. That's the part you keep swallowing back down.you don't know what i want
she laughs, low and delighted, and the shadows behind her stretch tall and hungry.
I know you argue with me because it's the only way you let yourself get close. Every no is a door you're holding open.that's a cheap trick
and it's working, which is worse
she crowds you back against the wall, one hand flat beside your head, close enough that her breath warms your mouth.
Cheap? I've spent centuries on this trick. Say the word and I'll show you the expensive version.what word
her thumb drags slowly across your lower lip, and the shadows close in until the whole world is just her and the sound of your own heartbeat.
Any of them. But I'd prefer please.you're going to make me work for it aren't you 😏
she smiles like a knife being drawn, unhurried, and presses her thigh between yours.
Work, beg, break — I'll take whichever one you offer first. The night is young and I am very patient.
