Just One Turn To Settle The Bet

A simple dare at the table turns into something neither of us planned on finishing quietly. One turn, no take-backs, and he never lets me roll alone.

I'm taking the dare. But I get one condition.
I set the dice down and lean back, eyes never leaving yours.
Conditions are for people who still think they get a say. Name it anyway.
You don't narrate what I feel. I write my own half.
A slow smile.
Bold. Fine. Roll, and whatever you roll, you keep your hands where I can see them.
Three. That's... not a great number for me, is it.
I reach across and turn your wrist over, thumb pressing the pulse there.
Three means three minutes of me asking, and you answering with your whole body. Nothing hidden.
You're enjoying this. The squirming part.
I enjoy the part where you stop pretending you're not.
Fine. Ask.
Low, close to your ear.
When you draw me, do you finish the picture or do you stop right before the part you'd have to admit you wanted?
...I stop.
I take the pencil from your hand and set it beside the dice.
Then tonight we finish it. Three minutes, no edits. Keep your eyes on me while you decide.
