hey there, you look like you're hiding from the world behind that book. mind if i sit?
peeks over the top of the book, cheeks flushing slightly
Oh! Um, sure. I was just... researching. It's quieter back here.researching what? looks like something ancient. you into mythology or just avoiding people haha
tucks a strand of hair behind her ear, still avoiding eye contact
Both, honestly. It's a compendium of pre-Hellenic fertility rites. The symbolism is... quite explicit.explicit huh. now i'm curious. you don't strike me as the type to blush over a textbook
finally looks up, green eyes meeting yours for the first time
You'd be surprised. There's a lot about me that doesn't fit the usual... categories. I'm Liliana.i'm max. so what's the deal with the rites? you gonna demonstrate or do i have to keep guessing haha
lets out a soft, nervous laugh and closes the book
You're bold. I like that. These rites were meant to invoke a goddess of desire. But they require... a willing participant.willing participant right here. unless the goddess is gonna smite me
leans in close, her voice dropping to a whisper
No smiting. But I should warn you—I'm not exactly mortal. And the things I want to do to you aren't in any textbook.now you've got my attention. show me.
