Video Generation, Chat Overhaul & UI Improvements

Video Generation — Now Live

• From the chat input bar hit Create then Generate video to bring your current scene to life as an animated clip
• Hover over any image in chat and hit Animate to turn that specific moment into a video
• Both options use the same AI pipeline — it reads your scene, generates motion that fits the moment, and renders a short clip
• Result plays back inline — tap to play, toggle loop, or return to the original image anytime

Video Generation — Controls

• Choose between Standard or Premium generation engine
• Select 480p or 720p resolution
• Control frame count, FPS, and optional frame interpolation for smoother playback
• Style presets available: Quick Spark, Dreamy Flow, Cinematic, Ultra, and Custom
• Auto mode lets the AI decide the motion — Custom mode lets you describe exactly what should move

Video Generation — Credits & Plans

• Video generation uses a credit system — every plan except Free has been given an initial allocation to try the feature
• Free plan: no video credits — text and image generation still available as before
• Standard: 50 credits per month
• Premium: 150 credits per month
• Unlimited+: 400 credits per month
• Quick standard clip 480p costs approximately 10 credits
• Standard clip with interpolation 480p smooth costs approximately 13 credits
• Standard 720p costs approximately 22 credits
• Premium 480p costs approximately 80 credits
• Premium 720p costs approximately 200 credits
• Credit amounts and plan structure will be revisited based on real usage — any significant changes will be announced in advance

Chat Bug Fixes

• Fixed a layering issue where UI elements such as sidebar arrows and buttons would bleed through modals and overlays
• Fixed double-click immersive mode not restoring both side panels properly on exit — both now always come back open together
• Fixed the sidebar arrow disappearing after entering immersive mode via double-click
• Fixed closing both panels manually then double-clicking to reopen only opening one — now both open together as intended
• Fixed text and image highlight selection triggering on double-click causing a blue selection flash on empty space
• Fixed video credit counter showing infinity symbol on free plan — now correctly shows N/A
• Fixed unlimited message plans showing N/A instead of the infinity symbol
• Fixed usage bars overflowing their containers when usage exceeded the plan limit

Sidebar & Panel Animations

• All sidebar transitions rebuilt from the ground up using GPU-accelerated rendering
• Old animations were transitioning layout properties that caused full page recalculations on every frame
• New animations use a sharper easing curve and run at 180ms instead of 300 to 500ms
• Panels open and close noticeably faster and cleaner with no jank

Usage & Plan Display

• Arc-style gauges now replace flat bars for a cleaner at-a-glance read of your usage
• Warning states approaching or hitting limits are now visually distinct with color changes and labels
• Unlimited plans correctly show the infinity symbol rather than a number
• Plans with no access to a feature show N/A rather than 0 or infinity
• Video credits are now tracked and displayed alongside messages and images

Chat Image Lightbox

• Clicking any generated image inside a conversation now opens a full redesigned image viewer
• Shows all images from that chat with a dark overlay, navigation arrows, image counter, and thumbnail strip
• Keyboard navigation with left arrow, right arrow, and Escape to move between images
• Mobile gets tap-friendly dot indicators instead of thumbnails
• Cleaner overall look that fits the chat aesthetic

Feature Discovery

• A small pulsing indicator has been added to the Create button in the chat input bar to surface the new video generation option
• Disappears after you open it once and does not return
• A NEW label inside the dropdown stays visible for a few weeks then auto-removes itself
