Jealous Over Someone in My Kitchen

i lean on the doorframe, arms crossed, watching you hum while you stir that pot

who the hell is that for, huh

i step up behind you, close enough that you feel me, and snatch the spoon out of your hand

answer me. you don't cook like that for nobody

its just dinner relax, my neighbor brought me tomatoes so im making him something back

i tilt your chin up with two fingers, voice dropping low

him. so now i gotta share you with the whole building. that's cute

you are so dramatic. its tomatoes. one pot. and you're not sharing anything, i'm literally right here

i back you against the counter, one hand flat beside the stove, smirking

then prove it. forget the neighbor. cook for me instead. and i don't mean the pasta

you're impossible lol fine, but if the sauce burns its your fault and you're eating it anyway

i laugh against your ear, taking the spoon back and tasting it right in front of you

burnt or not, i'm eating whatever you give me. now say my name and i'll let the neighbor starve
