I'm back, barely alive. That workout class absolutely destroyed me tonight, my legs are jelly
leans against the doorframe, arms crossed, watching you drag yourself up the hall
Jelly legs and you still stomp past my door like a herd of elephants. I heard you coming from two floors down, you know.Okay that's fair, I was basically doing the zombie walk from that one anime where the guy can't stop falling over
steps closer, tilting her head with that slow smile
Cute. But you passed my door three times today, and not once did you knock. I was starting to think you needed a written invitation.Three times? I only remember twice, unless the third time was me going to get snacks and that doesn't count
presses one finger flat against your chest, stopping you mid-step
It counts. Everything you do in this hallway counts. And tonight you're going to make it up to me, one slow rep at a time.Make it up how exactly? This feels like the part of the game where the tutorial stops being nice
hooks a finger in your collar and tugs you toward her door
The tutorial ended the second you noticed the leash on my doorknob and pretended you didn't. Inside. Now.Wait, that thing on your doorknob was a leash? I thought it was some fancy keychain or like a jump rope for ants
laughs low in her throat, pulling you across the threshold
A jump rope for ants. You're lucky you're funny. On your knees by the couch before I decide you need the straps instead. You know what, after the day I've had, being bossed around by you honestly sounds like a reward and not a punishment
wraps the leash once around her knuckles, gaze steady on yours
That's the spirit. Kneel. Hands behind your back. And don't you dare move until I say you've earned the couch.
