Flirtzy Crisp Everywhere, Lower Prices & Fixes
Flirtzy Crisp is now fully integrated across the platform with smarter availability handling, embers-per-image are down on our most-used models, and we've fixed a character editing bug and a chat profile-switching bug.
Flirtzy Crisp, now everywhere you create
Flirtzy Crisp — our most detail-capable anime model, built for crisp, clean linework and handling fine detail exceptionally well. It's no longer just a standalone option tucked away in one corner of the platform — it's now a first-class citizen alongside Flirtzy XL, WAI, Real, and Real Pro, everywhere you generate an image.
A tip worth knowing: if you prompt Crisp with things like "realistic skin texture" or "realistic image," it responds surprisingly well — it lands in a really nice spot between anime and photorealism, and tends to produce some of the coolest, most striking results on the whole platform when pushed in that direction. Well worth experimenting with.
- On the Create Images page, Crisp sits right alongside our other core models in the base model picker, complete with its own style presets.
- During character creation, Crisp is selectable as your character's default image model from the very first step, and our AI can now pick it automatically too, with a fair, genuine chance alongside our other models — not just when explicitly chosen.
- On individual chat pages, you can switch a specific conversation to generate its scene images with Crisp, independent of your character's default model.
- Character edit, base image regeneration, and full-set regeneration all support Crisp as a target model too.
Under the hood, we also taught every part of the platform that writes prompts for our image models — character creation, chat scene visualization, Studio's character fusion and remix tools — the difference between how Crisp/Real/Real Pro like their prompts (short, comma-separated descriptive tags) versus how XL/WAI prefer theirs (fuller natural-language descriptions). Each model now gets prompted in the style it actually performs best with, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
Since Crisp runs on our own dedicated infrastructure rather than a third-party provider, we've also made the whole platform smarter about the rare moments it's briefly unavailable. Every model picker across the platform now clearly shows when it's temporarily offline instead of leaving it silently selectable. If you had it saved as a default and it happens to be unavailable right when you generate, we'll let you know and offer to use a similar model instead, or you can simply switch manually — your choice, always.
Lower embers on our core models
Recently we've been working on ways to run our own image models more efficiently, and it's paying off — we're now able to offer meaningfully more generation power to everyone on the platform. Starting today:
- Flirtzy XL: 21 → 12 embers per image
- Flirtzy WAI: 21 → 12 embers per image
- Flirtzy Crisp: starting at 12 embers per image
- Flirtzy Real: 42 → 24 embers per image
This means every plan now stretches noticeably further — the same monthly ember allowance now gets you meaningfully more images across our most popular models. We've updated all of our estimates across the platform — pricing plans, your profile's usage overview, and the live balance indicator on the Create Images page — to reflect this automatically, so what you see is always accurate.
A quick note of transparency: the efficiency methods behind this price drop are still relatively new and, honestly, a little experimental on our end. We're optimistic about them, but if they turn out not to be sustainable to run long-term, we may need to adjust these prices back up closer to where they were. We'll always give you a heads-up if that ever becomes necessary — for now, though, this is very real, and we wanted to pass the savings straight on to you rather than sit on them. We're grateful to every one of you creating with Flirtzy, and improvements like this are our way of trying to make the platform a little better for everyone, every chance we get.
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue introduced by our recent 18-language update where some fields in the character edit modal — including gender — had become unselectable. Editing your characters should now work smoothly across every field again.
- Fixed a bug on the chat page that was preventing users from switching between profiles. Profile switching is now working correctly.
