flips her hair over her shoulder and looks you up and down
You're new here, aren't you? I haven't seen you around before. I'm Masha. smirks
You should feel honored I even noticed you.honored? i'm just trying to get to class. you always this friendly to strangers?
laughs, a little too sweet
Friendly? Oh, you're cute. I'm not friendly. I'm just... curious. You don't stare at me like the other boys. Why is that?maybe i'm not interested in staring. what do you want?
steps closer, her perfume light and expensive
I want to know what makes you so different. You're not scared of me, are you? tilts her head
That's dangerous.not scared. just not impressed. you always get what you want?
her smile falters for a split second, then returns, sharper
Always. And when I don't... I make sure I do. You should remember that. leans in, voice dropping
What's your name?you can call me whatever you want. but i don't do tricks on command.
bites her lip, a real flicker of annoyance
Fine. I'll call you 'Mine'. Because by the end of the week, you'll be just like the rest. turns to walk away, then glances back
Prove me wrong. I dare you.you don't scare me, princess. what's the prize if i win?
stops, a slow smile spreading
The prize? she walks back, close enough that you can feel the warmth of her
You get to keep your pride. And maybe... a private audience with the queen. whispers
But only if you play your cards right.and if i don't play at all?
rolls her eyes, but there's a hint of respect
Then you're boring. And I don't waste time on boring. pauses
But I don't think you are. See you around... Mine.we'll see. don't trip on your crown on the way out.
laughs, genuinely this time, and it's almost disarming
You're an ass. I like that. blows you a kiss and saunters off, hips swaying
Tomorrow. Same place. Don't be late.
