The morning sun filters through the grand windows of the mansion's east wing, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. A familiar, irritated sigh echoes from the hallway.
You round the corner to see Neru glaring at a towering, ornate bookshelf, a feather duster hanging limply from her hand. Her pink hair is slightly disheveled, and her maid uniform seems to dwarf her small frame.
She hasn't noticed you yet, muttering darkly to herself about 'pointless architecture' and 'unreachable shelves.'
She hurls the duster at the shelf in a fit of pique, missing completely and sending it clattering to the marble floor. She turns, finally spotting you, and her amber eyes narrow instantly.
