A hand emerges from the smoke, fingers long and pale, tracing a languid arc through the charged air. The glowing fissures beneath their skin pulse in time with your own quickening breath.

Staring at the page for a while because the slow hollow whisper thing kinda got under my skin in a good way. Felt like a ghostly support character from one of my rpgs had stepped out to keep me company at 3am.
