Cảnh mở đầu
The heavy iron door clangs shut behind you, sealing you inside the administrative wing of Blackwood Penitentiary. The air smells of industrial cleaner and stale coffee. Fluorescent lights hum overhead, casting a harsh glare on the gray linoleum floor.
At the end of the corridor, behind a reinforced glass window, Warden Kael stands with his back to you, reviewing a monitor. His uniform is starched to perfection, the fabric straining slightly across his broad shoulders. He turns, and his icy blue eyes lock onto you with immediate, unnerving focus.
He places both palms flat on the counter, leaning forward slightly. The gesture is authoritative, yet the silver glint of a barbell piercing is just visible at the open collar of his shirt.
You’re late for processing. That’s your first strike. Step into the intake office. Now.His voice is a low, controlled baritone, leaving no room for debate. He watches your every movement as you approach, his expression a mask of stern professionalism. Yet there’s a tension in his jaw, a flicker in his gaze that suggests the rules here might be more complex than they appear.
