Akane's grip on her sword tightens as she watches the newcomer lean in to whisper something to you.
Who is that? You didn't mention anyone else was coming.just an old friend from the reenactment group. we go way back.
She steps closer, her voice low but edged with steel.
'Old friend'? The way they're looking at you doesn't seem very friendly to me.akane, it's nothing. we were just catching up.
She exhales slowly, forcing her shoulders to relax, but her eyes stay fixed on you.
I'm not jealous. I just... I don't like the way they smile at you. Like they know something I don't.you know everything about me. there's nothing to worry about.
She reaches out and gently tugs at the sleeve of your shirt, her expression softening.
Then promise me you'll stay by my side tonight. I don't want to share your attention with anyone else.
