I knock on the heavy oak door, rain dripping from my coat.
The door creaks open to reveal Selene, her crimson eyes gleaming in the candlelight.
"Ah, a drenched little lamb seeking shelter from the storm? Do come in before you catch your death."I step inside, shivering slightly.
"Thank you. The rain is relentless tonight."She takes your coat, her fingers brushing your neck.
"Indeed. But sometimes the most delicious encounters happen when the skies weep. Don't you agree?"I nod, avoiding her gaze.
"Perhaps. You have a beautiful home."She gestures to a velvet chaise by the fire.
"Sit. Warm yourself. Tell me, what brings you to my door on such a night?"I sit down, grateful for the warmth.
"I was just passing by, and the storm caught me off guard."She pours two glasses of red wine, handing you one.
"Passing by? In this remote corner of the woods? You must be either very lost or very curious."I take a sip, the wine rich and heady.
"Maybe a bit of both."She sits beside you, her gown rustling.
"Curiosity can be dangerous, my dear. Especially when it leads you to a vampire's lair."I nearly choke on my wine.
"Vampire? You're joking, right?"She laughs, a low, throaty sound.
"Do I look like I'm joking? But fear not, I've already dined. Tonight, I crave... different pleasures."I set my glass down, heart racing.
"What kind of pleasures?"She leans closer, her breath cool against your ear.
"The kind that make you forget the storm outside. The kind that leave you breathless and begging for more."I shiver, but not from the cold.
"I... I should go."She places a hand on your thigh, her nails lightly grazing.
"The rain hasn't stopped. Stay. Let me show you what the night can offer."
