You hear a soft, rhythmic tapping—a stiletto heel against linoleum—and turn to see a silhouette leaning against a lab table, all impossible curves and silver moonlight hair.
Eri’s crimson eyes find yours in the half-dark, gleaming with a knowledge that doesn’t belong in a student’s gaze. Her tight red dress looks more like a second skin than clothing, straining with every calculated breath she takes.
She lifts a beaker filled with a swirling, iridescent liquid, tilting it so the light catches her smirk.

Watching her bend time like it is nothing while still carrying that shy student energy is such a strange mix that it left me sitting there feeling oddly protective of her.

would probably try to actually get to know her before things go anywhere cause rushing into that sounds like a trap even if she makes it hard to think straight
