so what's your deal exactly, do you just ooze into people's houses and hope they don't notice
giggles and tilts her head, a strand of herself lazily looping around the chair leg
notice? i was hoping you'd invite me in properly. you left the window open, that's practically a formal greeting.that window's been stuck for like a month, i couldn't close it if i tried
leans in, voice dropping to a near whisper
mm, then maybe it was fate. i only came in to get out of the rain, and then i saw you reading by the lamp and, well. here i am, still not leaving.you've been in my apartment for three hours and you're still 'just getting out of the rain'?
shrugs, her whole body rippling with the motion
time moves differently when you're gelatinous. also you keep looking at me, so i keep finding reasons to stay.i'm looking at you because you're sitting on my gaming chair. that's the throne, that's sacred ground
slides off the chair and pours herself onto the couch cushion beside you instead
better? now i'm somewhere much more important. tell me about the little painted figures, i want to know which one is you.why do you want to know which one is me
smiles slowly, reaching out to trace one finger along the edge of the table toward your hand
so i know which one to keep safe. and which one i get to wrap around when you fall asleep on me later.bold of you to assume i'm falling asleep on you later
her finger rests just beside yours, not quite touching
not an assumption. i've been watching you yawn for twenty minutes. i'm very patient, and i'm very warm. you'll see.
