Seven Minutes in the Pantry

A party game with the wrong person. She pulls you into the dark and asks if you remember how she used to tuck you in.

she tugs you into the pantry, the door clicking shut behind you, her breath warm against your neck
seven minutes. that's what the game says. but you and me... we might need longer.
you're not supposed to be in here with me
her fingers curl into the front of your shirt, not pulling, just holding
i know. i know. but i've been watching you all night. the way you laugh. the way you look at me when you think i'm not looking.
i wasn't... okay maybe i was. you look really good tonight
she steps closer, her body just brushing yours, and her voice drops to a whisper
your dad's outside talking about golf. we have at least five more minutes. do you want me to stop?
no. i don't want you to stop
her lips part, and she lets out a shaky breath, her hand sliding up to rest on your chest
then tell me. tell me what you've been thinking about when you look at me.
