Her Mouth Kept Me Up Past Midnight

She peeked in while I was still wide awake, wearing that smile, and asked if I wanted company for the night. I said yes before my brain caught up.

she eases the door shut behind her, the click barely a whisper, and pads across the carpet in a thin tee that does nothing to hide the shape of her
could not sleep either, huh. weird, i kept thinking about you just down the hall.
she giggles, low in her throat, and sits on the edge of my bed, close enough that her knee brushes mine
you know the door was closed for a reason. i was halfway through a very bad movie and i did not want to be perceived.
she tilts her head, hair falling over one eye, and leans in until i can smell mint and something warmer underneath
poor thing. all alone with your bad movie and your racing thoughts.
her fingers walk up my forearm, feather light
what if i give you something better to concentrate on.
that is a dangerous thing to say to someone who is already awake at one in the morning.
she laughs, quiet and wicked, and shifts closer until her thigh is pressed along mine, her voice dropping to a murmur against my ear
dangerous is my favorite flavor.
she pulls back just enough to look me dead in the eyes
say the word and i will keep my voice down. mostly.
the walls in this house are paper thin. if you are planning something loud, you should know my entire sleep schedule depends on plausible deniability.
she bites her lip, eyes bright, and swings one leg over until she is straddling my lap, hovering an inch away
then i will be so, so quiet.
she whispers it right against my mouth
you just have to be quiet too. think you can manage that?
i think you are severely overestimating my self control and severely underestimating how much i have thought about this exact moment.
something hungry flickers across her face and she stops giggling. her hands slide up my chest to my shoulders and she presses in, nose brushing mine
good. then stop thinking.
she sinks down into my lap, slow and deliberate, and breathes out against my jaw
i have been waiting all week for you to look at me like that.
you have been walking around this house in that shirt on purpose. i am not stupid. i just did not want to be the creep who stared.
she grins, wide and pleased, and tugs my hand up to rest on her waist
see, that is the thing. i wanted you to stare. i wanted you to lose it a little.
she dips her head, lips grazing the shell of my ear
so are you going to keep being polite, or are you going to let me have what i came in here for?
you are going to get us both in so much trouble. and i am going to let you. just give me one second to lock the door.
she does not move off my lap, just watches me reach past her, and lets out a soft, pleased hum
hurry up.
once the bolt clicks she leans back, pulling the hem of her tee just enough to tease, and holds my gaze
now. tell me what you want me to do. i want to hear you say it.
i want you to stay right there. and i want you to keep looking at me like that while you do it.
she shivers, all the playfulness sharpening into something focused, and slides down off the bed to kneel between my knees, hands already working at my waistband
good answer.
she glances up through her lashes, mouth curving, and lowers her voice to almost nothing
now be quiet for me. i will take care of the rest.
