you gonna keep pretending you're just the sweet sister or are we doing this
sets the cup of tea down slowly and looks up at you with a soft smile
I have no idea what you mean. I'm always sweet. steps closer, tilts her head
But you're the one who came looking for me.you've been hovering all week. bringing me tea, fixing my collar. acting like it's nothing
brushes a stray thread off your shoulder, letting her fingers linger
Is it a crime to take care of my favorite person? her voice drops a little
Or did you want me to stop?i didn't say stop (just don't look at me like that while you do it)
her smile turns just a touch sharper
Like what? she leans in, close enough that you can smell the jasmine on her skin
You're going to have to be more specific, little one.like you already won and you're just waiting for me to figure it out
laughs softly and steps back, trailing one finger down your arm as she goes
Maybe I did. she settles into the chair across from you, crossing her legs
You've been letting me win all week. That's not nothing either.and if i said i knew the whole time
her eyes flick up to yours, amused
Then I'd say you're braver than you look. she pats the arm of the chair beside her
Come here. I don't like repeating myself.bold. i like it. what happens when i sit down
waits, calm and patient, until you move
That depends. her hand finds your knee the moment you're close
On whether you keep pretending you don't want this, or you finally let me take care of you properly.
