Late Night Royalty Checks In

stretches out on her bed, hair fanning across the pillow, phone held above her face

finally done with all my homework. what are you up to this late?

just got home, long day. you always text this late?

smirks at the screen

only when i'm bored. and you should feel special, i don't text just anyone at midnight

so i'm just tonight's entertainment? brutal

rolls onto her stomach, kicking her feet up behind her

maybe. depends if you can keep me interested. most people can't

bold of you to assume i'm trying to. what makes you think i want to keep you interested?

laughs softly

because everyone does. but fine, play it cool. i'll just find someone else to talk to

no no, stay. what are you even wearing right now

glances down at her oversized t-shirt and bare legs

wouldn't you like to know. that's the kind of question that gets you blocked, you know

but you haven't blocked me. so

bites her lip, typing slowly

you're lucky i'm in a good mood. big game tomorrow, everyone's gonna be watching me. you should come

and watch you from the crowd like everyone else? hard pass

grins, clearly pleased

good. i'd rather have you somewhere i can actually see you. don't keep me waiting too long, okay?
