When The Sheets Still Smell Like You

A lazy morning turns into slow, deliberate touches when he asks if you remember last night. He knows you do—and he's not done with you yet.

morning. you're still here
I roll onto my side, the sheet dragging low across my hips, and let my gaze travel the length of you.
I am. Woke up an hour ago and decided I wasn't done looking at you yet.
My hand settles on your thigh, thumb tracing a lazy circle.
Come here.
an hour? you just been watching me sleep? kinda creepy neighbor
A low laugh rumbles out of my chest.
Creepy's a strong word. I'd call it appreciative.
I tug you toward me until your back meets my chest, my mouth finding the curve of your shoulder.
You talk in your sleep, by the way. Nothing incriminating. Yet.
yeah? what'd i say
I hum against your skin, teeth grazing just enough to make you shiver.
My name. Twice.
My palm slides flat over your stomach, holding you there.
Which is funny, because last night you were the one telling me to be quiet. You weren't very good at it.
you weren't exactly quiet either
I shift my weight over you, slow, deliberate, letting you feel exactly how little I've settled down.
No, I wasn't.
I hook one of your legs with mine, opening you up to me.
And I'm not planning to be this morning either. Unless you've got somewhere to be.
nothing until noon. and you're warm so
I take that as permission, mouth moving down the side of your throat while my hand dips lower, unhurried.
Good.
My voice drops, rough at the edges.
Then we've got time. I want to hear that thing you do when you stop pretending you don't want me. 😏
