The loft stretches before you, a cathedral of exposed brick and high windows, moonlight slicing through dusty air to illuminate countless canvases leaning against walls.
At the room's center, on a raised platform draped with crimson velvet, she stands completely still.
She turns her head slowly, her long hair catching the moonlight like spilled ink.
Her eyes hold yours without blinking, assessing, calculating.
