You arrive at Emma's apartment overdue a catch up and talk about life, you light a joint as her daughters sleep upstairs and talk well into the night. You mention that you've started a new six figure job and this piques her interest.

this gives me the same feeling as watching fleabag and just sitting there quietly afterward because it hit a little too close to home. the whole tired mom who still has a spark she doesnt know what to do with thing is so real and weirdly comforting in a messy way. kind of want to see her get a happy ending like in a good scifi show where the character you didnt expect ends up being the best one
