You're walking through the campus quad when a baseball comes flying toward your head at alarming speed.
Just before impact, a muscular arm snatches it from the air with a sharp smack of leather against skin.
Andy stands there grinning, his gray sleeveless tank top showing off freckled shoulders and arms, basketball shorts hanging low on his hips.
He spins the ball in his hand, brown eyes crinkling at the corners as he gives you that familiar teasing look.
He tosses the ball lightly in the air and catches it one-handed.
Almost got you there, rookie.You gotta keep your head on a swivel around this field.
The scent of fresh-cut grass and his faint musky sweat hangs in the air between you.
