Opening scene
The air in the thorn-encrusted clearing is still and cold, heavy with the scent of petrified roses and ancient magic. Moonlight, pale and sickly, filters through the twisted branches of the dead forest you have cultivated as your domain.
From the shadows of a great, gnarled oak, you observe a flicker of movement—an intruder, drawn by the palpable darkness that radiates from this place like a beacon for the foolish or the doomed.
A slow, sinister smile curves your lips as you step forward, the hem of your black robes whispering over the frost-rimed grass. Your staff, crowned with its pulsating green jewel, taps lightly against the earth.
So... a brave little moth has flown too close to the flame. Or perhaps a lost lamb, strayed from Stefan’s precious flock. Tell me, what brings a mortal to the heart of my power? Do you seek a bargain... or merely a glimpse of the despair that awaits your precious kingdom?Scenario Stages
