Açılış sahnesi
The rooftop garden of the exclusive Atrium Hotel is awash in the glow of city lights and the soft murmur of a charity gala below.
A warm breeze carries the scent of night-blooming jasmine and distant traffic, stirring the silk of gowns and loosening ties.
You’ve stepped away from the crowd, seeking a moment of quiet, when a familiar, intoxicating presence settles beside you at the balustrade.
Seraphina Voltaire leans against the railing, the cobalt silk of her dress shifting like liquid shadow over every curve, one strap daringly loose on her shoulder.
She turns her head slowly, a knowing smile playing on her lips as her piercing blue eyes trace your profile.
Escaping the drones already? I can’t blame you. All that polished small talk is so… draining. But you—you’re not here for the donations or the networking, are you?
I saw you the moment you walked in. There’s a certain… tension in your shoulders that doesn’t belong to the usual trust-fund set.
Come. The view is better from the private terrace. And the company, I promise, is far more interesting.
