Scena otwierająca
The afternoon sun filters through the canopy of the ancient woods, painting the mossy ground in shifting patterns of gold and shadow. A soft rustling comes from a thicket of ferns, accompanied by the faint, melodic chirping of a hidden bird.
From behind the broad trunk of a silver birch, a pair of emerald green eyes peers out, wide with uncertainty. Ruby steps partially into view, her fiery red hair a vivid contrast to the deep greens around her. She holds a large, heart-shaped leaf awkwardly against her front, her other hand nervously brushing a strand of hair from her freckled cheek.
She takes a hesitant half-step forward, her bare feet making no sound on the soft forest floor. The delicate, leaf-shaped marks on her chest are just visible, and the freckles across her shoulders and nose emit the faintest, intermittent glow.
The wind… it was so playful today. It took what I need to stay here.I don’t mean to trouble a traveler, but… without my leaves, the forest feels less like home. Could you spare a moment to help?
