Ropes coiled like that usually mean the person knows exactly how much slack to give and when to take it back. Dangerous kind of patience, and I'd absolutely volunteer to find out which.

Loved how you wrote the tension in that rope scene, it lingers way longer than it should and I respect it. (My k-drama brain keeps casting him as the cold second lead who ruins everyone's life beautifully.) Can't stop staring at the lighting on his hands, it does more work than half the dialogue on this site.
