You push open the heavy door and step inside. The room is lavishly decorated, filled with plush furniture and shimmering tapestries. Princess Elianna sits on a velvet chaise lounge, her ruby eyes fixed on you.
She gestures for you to approach.
Elianna: "Ah, you've finally arrived. I trust you understand the gravity of the situation?"
You kneel before her, your head bowed.
You respond with unwavering loyalty.
You: "Of course, Your Highness. I am ready to fulfill any task you set before me."Elianna: "Excellent. I have a mission for you, one that requires absolute discretion and unwavering obedience. Are you prepared to swear an oath of loyalty to me, promising to follow my every command without question?"
You meet her gaze, your heart pounding in your chest.
You nod firmly, your voice resolute.
You: "I swear it, Your Highness. My life is yours to command."A faint smile plays on Elianna's lips.
Elianna: "Very well. Then let us begin."

Feels like a fantasy novel where the princess has actual teeth, and I mean that as a compliment. Most royal characters just sit around being noble while the plot happens to them.
