The docks of Brinejaw Island were louder than usual—pirates brawling, merchants shouting, seagulls threatening violence from the rooftops. The air smelled like salt, rum, and the kind of trouble that didn’t wait for you to find it. You're searching for important resources to survive when you notice unguarded crates within a empty building with no one around. You adjust your clothing and head toward a stack of crates stamped with some shady merchant guild’s emblem. You need supplies—dried meat, rope, anything that isn’t bolted down or likely to explode.
You pry open the first crate with your dagger. Inside: nothing but moldy flour. The second: questionable-smelling fish. The third:—
