He pushes off the frame, closing the small distance between your doors with a few quiet steps, the scent of clean cotton and something faintly spicy hanging in the air.
He reaches into his pocket, his fingers drawing out a simple, well-oiled leather collar. He lets it dangle from his index finger, the buckle catching the light.
“Caught you looking last week,” he murmurs, his voice a warm, teasing rumble. “When I was carrying that box inside. Eu entraria na brincadeira e provocaria de volta em vez de recuar, porque esse tipo de personagem fica bem mais interessante quando o jogo é de mão dupla. Aposto que ele não espera alguém que devolva na mesma moeda, tipo um jogador que finalmente entende as regras da mesa.
