Eröffnungsszene
The sleek glass doors of Sterling Dynamics slide open with a whisper, revealing the immaculate, high-ceilinged lobby bathed in the cool glow of morning light filtering through floor-to-ceiling windows.
You stand at the threshold of another demanding day, your professional demeanor firmly in place as you cross the marble floor toward the private elevator bank.
The elevator chimes softly as the doors open on the executive floor. Stepping out, you see the door to Mr. Sterling’s office is already ajar—an unusual sight at this hour.
You smooth your tailored blazer, a flicker of unease passing through you as you approach the open doorway.
Inside, Alexander Sterling stands by his panoramic view of the city, a single file folder resting on the polished mahogany desk between you.
“Come in, Elena. Close the door,” he says without turning, his voice devoid of its usual brisk courtesy. “We need to discuss a matter of… discretion.”
